Here’s something old but new. GR reviews have become quite few and far between these days, back when I had ample free time I could dedicate hours to stat chasing and witty, often misspelled, words to entertain/pass the boredom of the masses but alas no more. However since the advent of the abbreviated GW Reviews and my love for a good spreadsheet let’s attempt to GR Review in the form of a GW Review. Make sense? No? It will do soon thicko. Let’s start with a whole load of tables and shit.

Team of The GR
I feel these are going to be contentious as in theory the GR table should dictate who is the top team right? Wrong. This is going to be based on who has been Team of The Week the most so you can win all your games, score all your fucking points and decimate all that stand before you but if you aren’t entertaining me enough on a weekly basis don’t even think about appearing in this section of the review. With that all being said your inaugural Team of The GR is Blackburn Ravers! GW4 ToTW, GW5 ToTW and GW9 ToTW need I say more? Mary was in with a shout with 2 ToTW’s under his belt and yknow being top of the GR Table but c’est la vie. Well done to Chrish and his…… 5th placed Team of The GR………5th? Fuck, might need to rethink this.
Match of The GR
This section could be trickier but we’re going to create a fictitious match between the two teams who have given us more in the GR than any other team which means Mary v Ed is out match up for the GR. Mary appeared 3 times with matches against Niall in GW1, Ed GW5 and Chrish GW7 where as Ed appears against Mary in GW5, Dev GW6 and Chris GW8. Most of this was Ed trying to ‘finish the story’ of his first win which he did achieve in GW7 where as Mary has just been balling this season. Big scores, big scorers, big amount of wins but still not the best team of GR1.
Player of The GR
For once this works! Highest points scorer in any position and 2 time winner of PoTW Mr Mo Salah. Apparently the 7th best player in the League has absolutely torn it up so far this season with 84pts without ever seemingly doing much such is his and Liverpools way at the moment. Bloody lovely to see as this particular player is a favourite this season of a particular vomiter of words. For fairness sake it’s worth mentioning Cole Palmer too as he has been listed twice as PoTW but he had to share one of those so fuck that guy, sharesies is for fanny faces and he’s Mary’s player and fuck that guy.
Chump of The GR
Oooooffff this is interesting. In theory it should be Warren as he has appeared twice which is more than anyone else this GR but I was scrapping the barrell a bit in GW9 as it was peculiarly a very non chumpy week so I feel bad giving it to him…..actually fuck that he lost to Ed which sounds harsher than it is as Ed is batting this season with one arm and a bat made out of soggy Panettone (I really want a Panettone) but still he was the first man to fall to the best of the rest which is ironic in a way as normally Wallen is the man filling in his blanks from whomever is left. Hey ho, sorry bro but someone has to fill this hole.
Dawkins of The GR
You’ve been good to me this season boys but with every passing blank the fear grows stronger that some real motherfuckers are about to be unleashed on me, however, of the 5 weeks of names Kerkez has appeared twice. I’m still none the wiser to what he looks like or where plays and in my head he wears a furry hat and has a neck beard with no ‘tache which is probably saying more about me than I should put out onto the internet but meh, who cares.
